6/3/17 - Anchorage/Seward/Anchorage 200K / 400K

DESCRIPTION: Time for a ride down the Seward Highway -- this early in the season there won't be nearly as much traffic, and you can choose between the 200K one-way with a train ride back, or the 400K out-and-back. As Kevin would say: drop bag service is available for the low, low price of ... free.

UPDATE - 20170601:  Summit Lake Cafe is a cash-only operation, so if you want some ice cream on the way down -- and who doesn't? -- be sure to bring a few bucks!

20170530:  Routes are finalized.  I will have water for you at Portage Glacier Visitor Center, drop bags at the Seward control, and cache some water at Johnson Pass control.  Ben and I did the pre-ride this past Saturday, wet and cold as always, hopefully the weather window for the coming weekend is better.

Remember the early start, see you there!

(Drop bags available at the Seward control, water will be cached at Turnagain Pass rest areas.)

Remember the 4AM start!

Please note -- after the start, you are on your own!
